It's that time again! I took a couple random pics this week around my house so I thought I would post some for all of ya'll to see!

Years ago I snagged a piece of a plant at my old office and put it in water so it would root. I then planted it...and waited, and waited and seriously seven or eight years later it bloomed and looked like this!

My mom gave me my old Swatch watch a couple months ago. I remember wanting one so bad and was so excited when I got one for Christmas. 

It has been SUPER hot in Ohio lately so the boys have been doing lots of playing indoors. Grant was being silly and put on some work goggles!

Thrifty Thursday!

So while I hoped to post some super duper bargain finds from somewhere besides Target, alas, I have failed!

I found the cutest pair of flats at Target for only a little over $6.00!! They will look super cute with jeans or black leggings this fall/winter.

I also am looking to buy a white desk so I can move my workspace from our kitchen island (I work from home) to a nice workspace in a central part of our downstairs.

I plan on filling these cute buckets (I bought two for .50) with pencils and misc. office supplies. Now I just have to find the perfect desk!

Black & White

I really need to start mixing in some color...I have way too much black in my closet! I only got dressed up once last week (lame, I know) so I threw on my trusted black khaki LOFT shorts and a cute white top and went out with my hubby for our date night!

Products I {Heart}

I thought I would share with ya'll some products that I use religiously and love!

 I love this lip balm because it goes on like a lip stick, it's lightweight and actually stays on! It isn't super expensive ($15) and lasts a long time!

 I have used this scrub for years! We are talking 10+! It is super inexpensive and does an awesome job of scrubbing away dead skin cells and leaving your skin feeling soft and glowing! Another bonus is you can find it everywhere!

Bare Minerals mascara. My mom doesn't wear mascara so when she gets her bare minerals makeup she always gives me her mascara. I love how well it stays on, separates and lengthens my lashes!

I have naturally curly hair and it is usually on the dry side. Since I rarely straighten it, I use this shampoo all the time. It leaves my hair shiny and manageable and the conditioner works great!

What Kate Wore

So Catherine, Dutchess of Cambridge is on a traveling frenzy just having visited Canada and yesterday landed in Los Angeles.

I love Kate's (seemingly) effortless style so I thought I would post some pics of her recent trip for all to see!

It's that time again! A lil sampling of some photos I took this week! 

 My sister-in-law took this at our swim club. I like it because it has a 60's vibe to it.

 I decided to spice things up with our usual pb&j sandwiches so I used a heart shaped cookie cutter!

WIWW - Celebratory Dinner Edition

So yesterday we received the best news EVER!

After two months on pins and needles the hubs landed another teaching job!

We are super stoked and exciting at joining a new parish and making new friends!

I get to decorate a new classroom and go shopping for supplies! A total win-win!

Best 4th of July....EVER!!

So this was my fourth, 4th of July in Ohio...and I have to admit, it was the best yet!

There was a trip to Grandma's where the boys decided to play in the dogs crate...

Spending some time driving their truck...

And lots of family, friends and fun!

Can't wait to experience the rest of what Summer 2011 has in store for us!
